3 Sustainable Beauty Product Stores

3 Sustainable Beauty Product stores

3 sustainable beauty product stores we love: We love sustainability! When it comes to skin & hair care, I like to share the best quality products and recipes on this site. But why not share sources where you can buy more reliable beauty products.

Are you someone who likes to go to the drug store and buy the cheapest sunscreen? Here I would like to break this general assumption that fancy stores have expensive products, and that sustainable beauty products are unattainable.

As you all know, our mission is to help you upscale your beauty in a green, clean, sustainable & eco-friendly way. We have already talked about natural and sustainable beauty definitions in the blog! Here & here.

But as busy women, we all want some quick-stop shops where we can just go and buy it.

So here we go: 3 Sustainable Beauty Product Stores We Love:

This is Glow & Green's favorite shop when it comes to buying eco-friendly beauty products. Fig & Flower is an e-commerce as well as a brick & mortar store based in Atlanta.

This shop offers plenty of green & sustainable skincare brands. Some brands are so affordable that you can use it every day.

In their own words, they say,

"At Fig & Flower, we carefully select products by personally testing, researching ingredients, and working with brands that align with our values. Any of the products you find at our store will not contain the following:

Aluminium, Animal Testing, Formaldehyde, Glycols, Parabens, Petrochemicals, Phenoxyethanol, Phthalates, Silicones, Sodium Laurel/Laureth Sulfate, Synthetic Fragrances, Triclosan, and other potentially harmful ingredients."

At Glow & Green, we consider Credo to be a green & sustainable SEPHORA store. Credo has some of the most stringent rules and regulations when it comes to ethically & sustainably produced skincare & haircare products. Credo has come out with natural vs. clean definitions.

Also, they came up with "the dirty list" of ingredients that won’t be found in any of the Credo brands. They sell it online, but they do have brick & mortar stores in LA, SF, NYC, Texas, and Boston.

The Detox Market opened its first pop-up shop in 2010 in Southern Californi, whose mission is "to create an educated community of health and beauty experts and to offer pure, effective, and elegant products have remained the same.

We are passionate about being the go-to resource for those who already believe in the power of pure products, and educating those who are new to green beauty and want to learn more."

This shop also has a subscription box for $39.95/month with a 6-month commitment.

So these are our favorite stores. They ship anywhere in the United States. If you prefer to shop in person and you happen to live in one of these cities, you can go and try on these beauty products as well.

At Glow & Green, we would love it if every woman just tries to look outside the box for their day-to-day skincare & haircare products.

Leave us a comment! If you have tried any of these stores and their products, we would love to hear your stories.
