The simpler the beauty recipe, the more likely you are actually going to use it. Taking care of our skin and hair doesn’t always receive the attention it deserves simply due to habitual routines, busy schedules, and the lack of time.
But if it only took one ingredient to make a difference, one that we already had on hand, well, then that would be like striking gold!
Potato Peel
Potato peel is perfect for skin problems. You can use them to get rid of dark circles, whitening your skin, treating acne, blackheads & whiteheads, and reducing excessive oil. All you need to do is apply some potato juice with the help of a cotton ball over the affected area.
Onion
Believe it or not, onion is an excellent remedy to turn your grey hair into its original hair color. Just apply the onion juice to your scalp and after 1/2 hour, wash it off.
Epsom Salt or Pink Himalayan Salt
Add a cup of Epsom salt to a warm bath to relieve sore muscles, soften skin and help detoxify the body. Easy to find and easy to use!
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is my favorite one.. because this kitchen staple. It not only improves your gut health but also makes your hair shiny when used as a hair rinse.
Just use it as a hair rinse once a week gets no bad hair day.
Green Tea
We all are getting older none of us is going to be younger. So, green tea consumption is an excellent remedy for any anti-aging treatment.
Just put cold green tea into a spray bottle and replay your facial mist. It will be great if you would like to use it as a facial rinse.
Olive Oil
Well, winter is around the corner, and I talked about winter skincare in my last episode. Still, frankly, if you have dry and dehydrated skin like me, olive oil can be an excellent moisturizer for your skin.
Honey
Honey is the sole ingredient for this anti-cellulite treatment. Just two teaspoons on your problem areas and use dry hands to repeatedly drag the honey back and forth.
This 5-10 minute massage with increasing pressure will help force circulation to the area, bringing nutrients and oxygen with it. For an added boost, you can add some new coffee grounds.
Eggs
Rich in protein and biotin, eggs naturally moisturize and repair your hair while providing much-needed nourishment to damaged tresses. Moreover, they also prevent breakage by conditioning the scalp and stimulating hair growth. Eggs increase hair strength, prevent breakage and improve its texture. Thus one must use egg for hair growth. The best part is that eggs are inexpensive, readily available, and give you healthy hair when consumed as a part of your diet, as well as when you use an egg pack for hair.
So apply eggs once a week as a hair mask, and you will see the difference.
Rice Flour
Rice flour contains allantoin, para-aminobenzoic acid, and ferulic acid. Allantoin in rice flour helps soothe skin and promotes the regeneration and repair of skin cells. Para-aminobenzoic acid also helps in the growth of healthy skin and hair.
Ferulic acid, on the other hand, is a powerful antioxidant. It helps neutralize free radicals on the surface of the skin and helps combat the effects of aging. In combination with the anti-inflammatory effect of allantoin, this antioxidant property makes rice flour a natural sunscreen. This gives it skin-brightening properties.
Apart from its anti-aging and skin-brightening properties, rice flour benefits for the skin include being an excellent exfoliator. The fine particles of ground rice help scrub dead skin cells without being harsh on the skin.
Coco Powder
